The Western Mediterranean basin is composed of a large triangle of sea between Syracuse to Genoa and Gibraltar. This of course includes Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics Islands. For those interested in History, this area saw the rise of the Roman Empire and also witnessed the Phoenician merchants and the Greek sailors founding trade counters 3000 years ago.

CURANTA CRIDHE: Winner of 2016 BVI Spring Regatta in cruising catamaran class.

Curanta Cridhe is primarily a great cruising boat. She has been designed with blue water circum-navigation in mind and can certainly cruise with style in luxury. But today, we may add more qualities to this superb sailing vessel. We won first place in our multihull class at the 2016 BVI Spring Regatta! What an amazing week we had racing against other catamarans in the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands...

Next stop Madeira

Curanta Cridhe, as her name suggests, really has a Brave Heart and she kept on sailing against the NW winds and the ferocious waves with courage and determination. Despite the fact life was pretty hard going, the crew kept a superb morale and maintained safe watches on board.
